A business trip here for the Crimson Tide, who will be looking to keep the Ole Miss offense grounded here in Oxford. The Rebels had to keep scoring and playing their starters on offense last week in a win over Southern Illinois, putting up 76 points was great but they managed to allow the Salukis to score 41 as well.
The Crimson Tide are just 4-9 against the number in this series, but last year won the contest 66-3 as they were laying four touchdowns. Tua Tagovailoa should lead his team to another solid victory here. He doesn’t turn it over, does things the right way and he’s probably the best overall quarterback in the country.
Alabama has proven it can run the football as well. If they get a solid lead in a game they can rely on that ground game, which will wear down Ole Miss here.
The Rebels can be as fired up as they want to be, but Nick Saban’s group is just that much better.
