The Alabama Crimson Tide just won the third national championship in four seasons, clearly making them the dynasty of this generation's college football. Nick Saban and crew mashed up on Notre Dame, 42-14, in impressive fashion and now are the talk (still) of the college football world. And to top it all, the team was already favored to win NEXT year's BCS Title Game before the game against Notre Dame kicked off. It's scary to think about how good Alabama can be in the future. AJ McCarron has already said he's coming back to school and just became the first QB in the BCS era to win back to back national titles. Yet, the Tide have extremely scary players that are freshmen, including T.J. Yeldon and Amari Cooper. They just seem to be getting better and better.
When we look at next season's schedule, two of the toughest games Alabama will play all season are their opening two games. They'll hook up with Virginia Tech in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta to open the season and then look to exact revenge on Texas A&M in College Station during the second week. A 3-game stretch with Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU in October all will see games at home along with layups against Colorado State, Georgia State and Chattanooga.
