Georgia Tech had a forgettable 2017 season, going 5-6 and getting whacked in the finale against Georgia. This year the Jackets have to improve under Paul Johnson and quarterback TaQuon Marshall is a senior, which should help team chemistry.
The Yellow Jackets bring back nine starters on offense, including Marshall and the entire backfield. Georgia Tech runs the flexbone well and with a ton of guys returning that have experience with that, this year could be a strong one for Georgia Tech. The defense does need work.
