2014 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles came into the year with a win total of 7, but on Sunday night they dispatched of division rival Dallas to take the NFC East and grab the last playoff spot. Now Philadelphia checks in with 12/1 Odds to win the NFC and 25/1 Odds to win Super Bowl 48.

The Philadelphia Eagles started the year off slow, as they won just 1 of their first 4 games, but after the 52-20 loss to the Broncos they turned their season around, winning 9 of their last 12 games, including 7 of their last 8. Still with the hot streak down the stretch they needed a win over the Dallas Cowboys to secure the division title.

The Eagles completed a worst-to-first turnaround under new head coach Chip Kelly when Brandon Boykin intercepted Kyle Orton with 1:43 left and the Eagles ran out the remaining time to seal the 24-22 win. In the first meeting between the teams, Nick Foles had his worst performance of the year completing 11-of-29 passes for 80 yards in a 17-3 loss, but on Sunday he completed 17-of-26 passes for 263 yards and 2 TDs. Foles has been a big part of the Eagles resurgence and now has thrown 27 TD passes to just 2 INTs on the year.

LeSean McCoy set the team's single-season rushing record with 1,607 yards, picking his way for 131 on 27 carries in the win over Dallas  and he also broke the franchise yards from scrimmage mark with 2,146. WR DeSean Jackson, who had three catches for 28 yards, finished the season with 1,332 yards receiving, good for second on the team's all-time single-season list behind Mike Quick (1,409 in 1983).

With the win Philadelphia (10-6) got the No. 3 seed and will host sixth-seeded New Orleans in the wild card round Saturday night at 8:10 ET. The Eagles have been installed as 2.5 point favorites in the game, while the total sits at 54.5.
