2014 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Schedule, Preview

Arkansas Razorbacks' 2014 National Signing Day Wish List

The Arkansas Razorbacks had a season to forget last year and are looking for a rebound. The 2014 Arkansas Razorbacks Schedule starts off with a tough road trip at Auburn before taking on a couple of non-conference tilts.

Arkansas started off pretty solid last year, winning their first three games before having the ultimate collapse. For the first time since the 1942 season the Hogs went 0-for the SEC schedule, finishing the season with a 3-9 record. Not good.

Bret Bielema is expecting bigger things with this year's squad in his second year at the helm of Arkansas. The Hogs will open up with Top 10 Auburn on the road, but they've had all summer to focus on this contest and gear up for a battle against a conference opponent in the opening week of the season.

The Hogs return Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins as their lead backs this season. Last year they combined for better than 1,900 yards and eight touchdowns. Brandon Allen is the quarterback but simply wasn't great last season, completing less than 50 percent of his passes while throwing 13 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. Bielema knows his quarterback play has to get better this season.

On defense, Arkansas just has to get better. They have some guys coming back but the Hogs gave up almost 31 points per game last season. They have winnable games on the schedule, but it will be tough to get back to their first bowl game since the 2011 season. They'll only play four road games, so they have the potential for an upset or two on their own field.
