The 127th Championships at Wimbledon begin Monday morning. The 2013 Wimbledon Start Time is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. (EST) and it will be televised nationally and live on ESPN. The tennis world turns their eyes to the grass season once again with the 2013 Wimbledon Championships. Wimbledon is the premier grass court tournament of the year and has been played annually at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877. The third of the four Grand Slam events of the year, Wimbledon is regarded as the hardest one to win. Currently the 2013 Wimbledon Odds have Serena Williams favored on the women's side and Novak Djokovic favored on the gentlemen's side.

Serena Williams is playing in one of the most impressive runs in women's tennis history. Williams won this tournament last year, dominating everyone in her way en route to a finals appearance against up and coming star Agnieszka Radwanska, who took Williams to three sets in the 2012 final. Yet, nobody has been able to slow her down this season. Williams has compiled a record of 43-2 on the year and has won six tournaments already.

Roger Federer won the title here last season, defeating Andy Murray in the finals. Murray won the first set in that match but Federer was able to come back and win the final three sets of the match to claim his record-equalling seventh Wimbledon title. Many think Federer has taken a step back in his age, while many of the younger players are quickly becoming closer and closer to that top level of play. Federer has built up a 26-7 record so far this year but has already won a tournament on the outside grass this year, taking first in the Halle tournament.

Last year, both Novak Djokovic and Petra Kvitová were unsuccessful in their 2011 title defences, both being defeated by the eventual champions Federer and Williams. All four are considered to be heavy hitters in this year's tournament. Djokovic is currently the odds-on favorite to win Wimbledon this year and he has drawn the No. 1 seed in the tournament with Murray drawing the second seed.
