The 2013 Preakness Stakes Odds for the horses confirmed for the race are listed below. Orb, winner of the Kentucky Derby, will look to break through and win the second leg of the Triple Crown.
Saturday's official race won't take place until closer to 6:30 p.m. from Pimlico in Baltimore, Maryland. However, NBC will begin their coverage at 4:30 p.m. to gear up for the race as well as look at two of the undercard races on the day. The weather for Saturday's race is calling for scattered clouds and a low 70s temperature. Earlier in the week the weather forecast was expected to bring rain and thus making it a muddy track, but as of Friday afternoon they are looking to stay dry.
Orb will be looking to win the second leg of the Triple Crown in this race. The Triple Crown hasn't been achieved by a horse since 1978 when Affirmed took home one of the most coveted prizes in all of sports. The 35-year drought is the longest in Triple Crown history. Orb is the early favorite after winning the Run for the Roses and drawing post position number one, taking even odds to win.
