We've reached the halfway point of the Major League Baseball season and tonight the 2013 MLB Home Run Derby takes places. The event has a start time of 8:00 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The home run derby odds for tonight have Chris Davis favored to win.

The American League and National League will be going at it tonight in Queens. The captain of the American League, Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees, faces off against David Wright of the New York Mets. Both captains were able to select three other players from teams in their league.

American League Lineup — Cano, Davis, Prince Fielder (Detroit) and Yeonis Cespedes (Oakland)
National League Lineup — Wright, Bryce Harper (Washington), Michael Cuddyer (Colorado) and Pedro Alvarez (Pittsburgh)

Fielder won the derby last year as it was held in Kansas City. Fielder is currently drawing +325 (Risk $100 to profit back $325) odds to win the derby tonight but he's not the favorite according to oddsmakers. Davis, who leads the league in home runs hit already this season, is drawing +250 odds for tonight.

In the odds for the first player to be eliminated, Cespedes is being tabbed by the oddsmakers to get the early boot.

How many home runs will be hit by the winner of the derby tonight has been set at over/under 30. The juice is coming in heavy on the over, meaning there is probably going to be quite a bit of home runs hit tonight by the eventual winner.
