The 2013 Big Ten Conference Football Odds have the Ohio State Buckeyes favored to make the trip to Indianapolis and win the league. It should come as no surprise as Urban Meyer's team went a perfect 12-0 last season but was unable to play in a bowl game.
In fact, the Buckeyes are the only team in the conference that is drawing juice in regards to their odds. With an impressive -115 betting odds for the conference championship on Ohio State, they are the overwhelming favorite. Many believe that Meyer's club can run the table yet again in 2013 and play in the BCS Championship game. Braxton Miller is drawing a lot of Heisman Trophy talk and also currently sits as the favorite to win that award. If everything goes the Buckeyes' way this year they could be regarded as one of the better overall teams in back-to-back seasons in recent memory.
Michigan and Nebraska are expected to be the two best teams in the Legends Division of the conference with Northwestern and Michigan State also looking to be right there at the end of the season. One of those four teams will almost assuredly play for the Big Ten title as Minnesota and Iowa are both expected to struggle this season.
Ohio State would have been in the title game last year, if not for suspensions stemming from the Jim Tressel problems. They more than likely would have played Alabama for the BCS National Championship as well. Wisconsin beat down on Nebraska in last year's conference championship and ended up playing in the Rose Bowl despite five losses. This year they're the second best option to play in the championship game, behind the Buckeyes. After than there's a big drop off to Iowa, Indiana and Illinois. Penn State is not eligible to play in the post season yet again this year.
