2012 Wimbledon Women's Finals: Serena Williams vs. Agnieszka Radwanska Odds

The Wimbledon women's finals are finally here. On Saturday morning, Serena Williams will take on Agnieszka Radwanska for a chance at a fifth Wimbledon title. The 2012 Wimbledon Women's Finals will see Williams look to tie her sister Venus at five championships. The Wimbledon women's finals odds have Serena Williams as a massive favorite, which should come as no surprise to anyone. Williams has dominated on the court to this point in the tournament and probably will be too much for Radwanska to overcome.

In tennis betting, name recognition is almost always a big factor in the overall line that is set. Not many people know who Radwanska is, but she's ranked as the third best player in the world and that's pretty much a fair and accurate ranking. She is one of the better players on the planet when it comes to grass court play and she could be a very serious dark horse in this match. Now, there have been multiple reports that Radwanska is having some breathing issues and that she even pulled out of a doubles match at Wimbledon. From everything that is being gathered at the current time, it looks as it the match will still get underway. Whether or not it goes to completion obviously remains to be seen.

Serena Williams is currently a -650 favorite to win the match and earn her fifth Wimbledon crown. The moneyline odds indicate Williams has a better than 86 percent chance to win the match and be crowned as champion. In order to profit back $100 on a moneyline bet for Williams, you'd have to lay down $650. Those odds are very high. However, there are several other ways that you can bet on the match, which give significantly better odds. But then again, it's not just as easy as a player winning or losing.

2012 Wimbledon Women's Finals odds

Serena Williams -5.5 games (-109)

Over/Under 19 total games played (-116)

Radwanska +1.5 Sets (+190)

Now, all of the odds tell us that Radwanska is going to have a tough time competing in this match, which could possibly be true. If the breathing problem is really that severe, it may be best to stay away from betting on her at all. However, I don't think it's going to be that big of a deal. I think the best bet possible on the board is the "OVER 19 games" played. It is a mortal lock that you are going to get at least 12 games just because someone will win. Other than that, the opponent needs to win 7 games. That's very possible, especially if Radwanska is going to be good to go.
