The greatest and oldest tennis tournament in the world returns on Monday from the All England Club in Wimbledon, London where they have been playing the same tournament since 1877. It is the third of the four majors played by both the men and women and generally regarded as the hardest one to capture. It's played entirely on grass and takes two weeks to complete. The 2012 Wimbledon Mens Odds has defending champion Novak Djokovic as the favorite for the tournament at 5/4 odds courtesy of the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Las Vegas Hilton).

Although Rafael Nadal won the French Open played on clay just a few weeks ago, he isn't the favorite in this event, which starts on Monday morning. Djokovic is regarded as the best player in the world on a grass surface and is favored as such. When looking at the odds entirely, we see that the "Big 4" are the only real chances to win the tournament, all with odds lower than 10/1. Djokovic, Nadal and Federer all pay out less than 5/1 to win Wimbledon, meaning oddsmakers believe they are the only three to exclusively have a chance to win the tournament.

We can talk all we want about Nadal beating Djokovic three straight times this season but none of those matches were played on grass. In fact, Nadal has beaten Djokovic all three times this season on a clay surface, something none of the major tournaments will be played on for the remainder of the year. Indeed, Nadal is the best clay player in the world, but Djokovic is equally as good on a grass surface, so if they were to face off in the finals, I'm sure Djokovic would be the favorite.

Let's not overlook the fact that Federer will be gunning for a record seventh Wimbledon title, either. Many argue that Federer is past his prime and no longer can compete at such a high level in tennis, but don't tell him that. Federer is still regarded as the best player of this generation and it's hard to argue against that. Sure, he is getting older every tournament, but I will never doubt his ability and neither should you. The odds alone at 9/2 (Risk $100 to win back $450) indicate he's still a pretty good threat to win this tournament, no matter how old he is.

2012 Wimbledon Mes Odds: Novak Djokovic 5/4, Rafael Nadal 9/4, Roger Federer 9/2, Andy Murray 10/1, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 20/1, Milos Ranoic 25/1, Juan Martin del Potro 25/1, Thomas Berdych 30/1, John Isner 40/1, Bernard Tomic 50/1, Robin Soderling 100/1, Andy Roddick 100/1, David Ferrer 125/1, Gael Monfils 150/1, Richard Gasquet 150/1, Mardy Fish 150/1, Marin Cilic 150/1, Marcos Baghdatis 200/1, David Nalbandian 200/1, Gilles Simon 200/1, Sam Querrey 200/1, Stanislas Wawrinka 200/1, Nicolas Almagro 200/1, Feliciano Lopez 200/1, Kei Nishikori 200/1, Janko Tipsarevic 200/1, Alexandr Dolgopolov 200/1, Kevin Anderson 200/1 and Field 40/1
