2012 Triple Crown Odds - I'll Have Another

A total of 11 horses have completed the Triple Crown, winning the most prestigious and coveted prize in horse racing. I'll Have Another can win the 2012 Triple Crown if the horse takes first place on Saturday at the 2012 Belmont Stakes. Currently I'll Have Another is the odds-on favorite to win the Belmont Stakes at +150 (Risk $100 to win $150) in the final race in the quest to win the first Triple Crown since Affirmed in 1978. Prior to the Kentucky Derby, the 2012 Triple Crown Odds would have paid back $700 for a $100 wager.

Going back to 1919 there has only been eleven horses who have managed to win the Kentucky DerbyPreakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes over a five week period and twenty one horses that have captured the first two legs of the Triple Crown only to come up short at the Belmont Stakes. Big Brown in 2004 was the last horse to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown but was unable to win the Belmont Stakes. In fact, Big Brown became the first possible Triple Crown winner to finish in last place at the Belmont Stakes.

The current Belmont Stakes odds have I'll Have Another at +150... Union Rags at +400... Dullahan at +450... Paynter +1200... Street Life +1800... Unstoppable U +3200... Atigun +4000... Optimizer +4000... Five Sixteen +6000... Ravelos Boy +6000... Guyana Star Dweej +6000...
