2012 PGA Championship Updated Odds

Saturday marks the third round of the PGA Championship in 2012 and there's a three-way tie atop the standings.Tiger Woods is currently the odds-on favorite at 5-4 odds and is expected to win the tournament outright. The 2012 PGA Championship Updated Odds are listed below.

Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson are tied through the second round of the 2012 PGA Championship at 4-under par. The course has been brutal the past few days, yielding tough scores and beating up on the best players in the world. Woods managed to putt well in the early part of his second round and it obviously saved him some shots as the day moved on. Singh and Pettersson are both right there, but neither has the experience of winning a major after being picked to win that tournament and lead after 54 holes played.

2012 PGA Championship Updated Odds

Tiger Woods 5-4, Rory McIlroy 7-1, Vijay Singh 8-1, Ian Poulter 10-1, Carl Pettersson 12-1, Adam Scott 12-1, Phil Mickelson 25-1, Graeme McDowell 25-1, Aaron Baddeley 40-1, Peter Hanson 40-1, Jamie Donaldson 40-1, Keegan Bradley 50-1, Zach Johnson 50-1, Trevor Immelman 50-1, Blake Adams 60-1 and the Field 8-1.

Tbe 2012 PGA Championship Third Round Tee Times are still being upheld because Joost Luitenhas yet to finish his second round.

The field that made the cut at the 2012 PGA Championship won't be able to get their respective tee times until Luiten is able to finish the 18th hole. Then, once he is finished, the third round can get underway. And yes, prior to the second round's completion, players are not allowed to know when their tee times will be. However, for guys like Woods, Signh and Pettersson, they know they will be in the final four golfers to leave the clubhouse and begin their third rounds because they all share a tie for the lead.

Currently the odds for the tournament have Woods as the favorite to win the event with Rory McIlroy and Singh in his sights. We all know how lethal Woods can be once he has at least the share of the lead after 54 holes in a tournament. Saturday's round could be no exception as Woods can come out and distance himself, even though he will officially be one of the final two golfers to tee off on Saturday.
