The 2012 PGA Championship continues on Saturday from South Carolina with the second round. Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson currently hold a tie for first place overall at 4-under par. The 2012 PGA Championship Third Round Tee Times are listed below after Joost Luiten finally finished his round on Saturday morning.
The field that made the cut at the 2012 PGA Championship wasn't be able to get their respective tee times until Luiten is able to finish the 18th hole. Then, once he was finished, the third round was able to get underway. And yes, prior to the second round's completion, players are not allowed to know when their tee times will be. However, for guys like Woods, Singh and Pettersson, they know they will be in the final four golfers to leave the clubhouse and begin their third rounds because they all share a tie for the lead.
2012 PGA Championship Third Round Tee Times
Currently the odds for the tournament have Woods as the favorite to win the event with Rory McIlroy and Singh in his sights. We all know how lethal Woods can be once he has at least the share of the lead after 54 holes in a tournament. Saturday's round could be no exception as Woods can come out and distance himself, even though he will officially be one of the final two golfers to tee off on Saturday.

This year marks the 94th time the PGA Championship will be played and television coverage will be provided in the United States by CBS and TNT, and in the United Kingdom by Sky Sports. The Ocean Course is set up to be a Par 72 and will play at just under 7,700 yards from first tee to the 18th green. There are four Par 5 holes on the course in No. 2, No. 7, No. 11 and No. 16 which play at an average of 577.5 yards. Last year the tournament was won by American Keegan Bradley on the Highlands Course at Atlanta Country Club. This is the first time the state of South Carolina has hosted a major championship, although back in 1991 Kiawah Island had hosted the Ryder Cup.
Rain has had it's way with Kiawah Island the entire week. On Wednesday it got so terrible at one point that they suspended play because of storms before anyone could even tee off for a practice round. You could argue the players really needed a day like Wednesday to figure out the course and how it would play with a lot of water coming down, but it didn't happen.
