This year marks the 94th time the PGA Championship will be played and television coverage will be provided in the United States by CBS and TNT, and in the United Kingdom by Sky Sports. The Ocean Course is set up to be a Par 72 and will play at just under 7,700 yards from first tee to the 18th green. There are four Par 5 holes on the course in No. 2, No. 7, No. 11 and No. 16 which play at an average of 577.5 yards. Last year the tournament was won by American Keegan Bradley on the Highlands Course at Atlanta Country Club. This is the first time the state of South Carolina has hosted a major championship, although back in 1991 Kiawah Island had hosted the Ryder Cup.

Rain has had it's way with Kiawah Island the entire week. On Wednesday it got so terrible at one point that they suspended play because of storms before anyone could even tee off for a practice round. You could argue the players really needed a day like Wednesday to figure out the course and how it would play with a lot of water coming down, but it didn't happen.
