Los Angeles Lakers at Oklahoma City Thunder [ABC | 2:30 PM ET]
Team Tips Top Trends Key Injuries
Lakers: Los Angeles has looked as motivated as they ever have since the All-Star break. The Lakers are 3-0 both SU and ATS since the All Star game. Los Angeles is 41-19 SU and 28-31-1 ATS overall this season. The Lakers have a commanding 10 game lead in the Pacific Division, yet are only in 3rd place in the Western Conference currently. The Lakers are 20-11 SU and 16-15 ATS on the road this year. Los Angeles is 1-2 ATS as a road underdog of 3 PTS or fewer this season. Very quietly, the Lakers are winning with their defense. Los Angeles is allowing just 96.2 PPG this year, 10th fewest in the NBA. At one point this year, the Lakers had one of the 7 worst scoring defenses in the league. G Kobe Bryant is leading the Lakers in both scoring and assists this season, averaging 25.2 PPG and 4.9 APG. F Pau Gasol is averaging 18.8 PPG and a team high 10.4 RPG, while shooting better than 53% from the field this year. The Lakers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games  against a team with a winning home record. Los Angeles is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win. Under is 19-6-1 last 26 games as a road underdog.

G Kobe Bryant (elbow) is probable.
Thunder (-1, O/U 201): Oklahoma City has lost their last 2 games SU, mostly due to terrible effort on the defensive end. The Thunder should be plenty motivated today, because they have plenty of revenge at stake. Oklahoma City was eliminated from the playoffs last year by the Lakers. The Thunder have also lost their only meeting this season to Los Angeles. Oklahoma City is 36-21 SU and 29-28 ATS overall this year. The Thunder are currently leading the Northwest division by 3.5 games. Oklahoma City is 20-8 SU and 15-12 ATS at home this season. The Thunder are 0-4 ATS this year as a home favorite of 3 PTS or fewer. Oklahoma City is averaging 104.5 PPG this year, 5th most in the NBA. F Kevin Durant leads the Thunder and the entire NBA in scoring this year, averaging 28.6 PPG. PG Russell Westbrook is averaging 22 PPG and a team high 8.4 APG this year. G Nate Robinson (trade) is probable.
New York Knicks at Miami Heat [ESPN | 8:05 PM ET]
Team Tips Top Trends Key Injuries
Knicks: New York is coming off an embarrassing loss to the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite the SU loss, optimism is still high in New York thanks to the trade that brought F Carmelo Anthony and PG Chauncey Billups to town. Tonight is a huge opportunity for the Knicks, as they can make quite the statement with their new team against one of the elite teams in the NBA. The Knicks are 29-27 SU and 33-21-2 ATS overall this year. New York is 13-15 SU and 19-8 ATS on the road this season. The Knicks are an impressive 19-7 ATS as the listed underdog this year. Obviously with last week's trade, any and all trends can be somewhat misleading because of the roster shakeup. New York is averaging 106.4 PPG this season, 2nd most in the NBA. With Anthony in the fold, the Knicks have 2 of the 5 most prominent scorers in the NBA. Anthony is averaging 25.3 PPG this season, while shooting 50.1% in the process. F Amar'e Stoudemire is averaging 26.1 PPG and a team high 8.6  RPG this season. The Knicks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU loss. New York is 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 road games against a team with a winning home record. The Knicks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games. New York is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against the NBA Southeast. The Knicks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.

PROJECTED SCORE: 101

Knicks are 19-7-1 ATS last 27 games as a road underdog.

Under is 8-3 last 11 road games.

F Carmelo Anthony (elbow) is probable.
Heat (-8.5, O/U 216): Miami is in a heated battle with the Boston Celtics for the best record in the Eastern Conference. These two heavyweights figure to battle for the rest of the regular season for the crucial home court advantage in the East. Since the Heat have failed to beat the Celtics this year, it's critical that they finish above Boston in the standings, giving them homecourt advantage. The Heat are 43-16 SU and 29-29-1 ATS overall this year. Miami is an impressive 22-5 SU at home this year. From an ATS standpoint, the Heat are far more profitable on the road than at home. Miami is just 10-16 ATS in home games this season. The Heat are also 2-6 ATS as a home favorite between 6.5 and 9 PTS this year. F LeBron James has been dynamic this year, having arguably his finest season ever. James is averaging Heat highs of 26.2 PPG and 7.2 APG, along with 7.5 RPG this year. Miami is allowing just 94.4 PPG this year, 6th fewest in the NBA. The Heat are 4-1  ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss. Miami is 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 games playing on 1 days rest. The Heat are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games against a team with a winning SU record. Miami is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games against the NBA Atlantic Division.
