Due to the lack of interest in thoroughbred racing in the forum, (based on the response and number of replies and lack of any meaningful dialogue to my recent efforts to post selections and information related to them) it is simply too time consuming to continue to devote such a daily effort to a sport that does not show enough interest to continue posting. The lack of meaningful responses to the amount of time and effort I have put in, is frankly not worth the time or effort. This is not surprising as the thoroughbred racing industry, were it not for casino gaming, such as video poker etc., operating at the majority of racetracks in the country, is what keeps this industry surviving. It is truly disappointing that this is happening to a sport so dear to me. I predict in 10 years there will be no more than 15-20 thoroughbred racetracks in business in the U.S. The number of racetracks that have closed in the last 10 years, is a testament to my observations. Other than The Triple Crown and The Breeders Cup, as well as the participation of European stables that now floods our country , in order to take advantage of our biggest purses offered, is more proof that we can't even support this sport without them. Truly sad. Thanks to those who did take the time to read and use the selections and information I did post on thoroughbred racing, results and info that produced winning selections that payed mutuals that rewarded readers with payoffs ranging from $85.80 to $2.20. To accomplish such a product is no easy task. and I enjoyed it, however, there is again simply not enough serious interest in thoroughbred racing here, for me to continue. Thanks to those who found it profitable and enjoyed it while it lasted. I tried thats for sure.Thank goodness this will never happen to football, baseball or basketball, as well as golf. GL to all, and thank you for the messages and thanks from those few who truly understand and love this sport.
