What I don't understand about all this... I have never seen humans through a color lens. I know some people do. The ignorant.
And I live amongst people of all color. For the most part, we all get along in our community. Maybe I live in a bubble? I just don't see what's going on with all the political bullshit, near me. I don't see it around me. Whites, hispanics, and blacks all get along where I'm from..
I know the world isn't perfect here in the US. But I think we've come a hell of a long way in my lifetime. I just want some normalcy again. Can't watch news anymore. Just depressing. To see our country going up in flames. Wish people would slow the **** down with agendas and slow down with all the race bullshit.
Hey HH, I'm curious where you are from. My thinking is very much along your lines. My softball team mates are mixed races, as are my friends. My insurance man, who is black, has been a dear friend since 1968. We all get along, and damn well at that. From my experiences the last 20 years, 10 in Palm Springs, and the last 10 in Las Vegas, I have never witnessed any race problems or even a hint of it. The teams we play against year after year with mixed races are always considered friends. We played with the feeling that "all people matter," with the utmost respect. In my humble opinion, I don't see these problems in our generation, don't understand why we even have the current problem. This is something a younger generation has created, and for the life of me wonder what for.
