Hey LLoyd, got a question about football with respect to playing the best numbers. My question is about totals, and whether or not they help determine which side of a number is the best value.
For instance, say a game comes out at -3 and stays there for a few days. The total on the game is 37 and that also stays there for a few days. I mention their stability because it indicates their accuracy. Because of the low total I am inclined to think that if the game goes to 3 1/2 it's time to take the points.
In a similar example, if a game comes out at 3 and stays there, with a total of 47 and stays there, it seems that the wise thing to do would be to wait until that game goes to 2 1/2 and then lay the points because of the higher total.
I ask this because I hear people talk about key numbers (3,4,7,10) and have always wondered if using the posted total could be a good way to determine which side of those key numbers is the best value.
Thanks in advance Lloyd -
With appreciation -
