Well I just got home from the sports bar where I watched it with some buddies. First of all and foremost, NO game of the year should ever be that close. I admit that. I expected the Ravens to win this thing outright or at worst lose by a FG. I was wrong. For a time it appeared I totally blew it. But, they play four quarters and the Ravens did capitalize on some dumb mistakes by the Patriots. It looked like we might come home with a winner but Hogan got free on some busted coverage and blew that up. I in the end took a push with some and I also totally get it that some lost. Like I said, NO game of the year should ever be that close. That is on me. I expected some early blow back from people giving up too early, that is the only lock in this crazy stuff and they came through like clock work. Like always. Nothing anybody can ever do about that. They do play four full quarters and crazy stuff happens in the NFL, or all sports for that matter, but some people insist on throwing up the white flag early. Just kind of shows their mind set I suppose. Could have gone either way. I will say once again for the third time. NO game of the year should be that close. I apologize to those who caught it at the less than 7. I let you down. I get that. I really felt like things were shaping up good for us but just like that Hogan broke as wide open as one can get on a legal play and that was our dagger.
This was a weird weekend for my NFL Triples. First the crazy ending with Oakland thursday night. Then on sunday Seattle turned the ball over six times and bared their asses at Lambeau. Then tonight with this goofy conclusion. I will just roll up the sleeves and go back to work tomorrow. Nothing much shocks me anymore guys. Once again for a final time, NO game of the year should ever be this close. I have proven with documented results I usually hit these. Tonight some pushed and some lost. Not good enough for that caliber of play.
Good luck moving forward.
