This season in the NFL has been a freak. I have made every attempt to own every loss, as I always do. There are many who have followed me here with football for close to a decade. They have seen me consistently win in the NFL year after year. They know never once boasted when things were great and by the same token they know I never hid from a loss. I am proud of that. I do quote long term, always have. Fact is most people care about it. Some don't, that's cool. But most do. I am not going to quote past results here because I was asked about this year in the NFL. Nothing short of hiring a blimp to fly across the country with it will satisfy but my integrity counts. My clients know that. We could get into the whole self discipline and money management thing till dark but that subject has been beaten like a rented mule. Once again, I state as openly as possible. This has been a losing season for the NFL. My worst in my career. I won't get into bad beats, the bottom line is this seasons results.
At the conclusion of the day yesterday the total mark was at 44-49. Down 25.8 units. The Triples are at 5-10. Rabid Dogs at 4-2. I was asked about Game of the Year yesterday. I did not have my records at my fingertips at the time. I mentioned I had had two in college and split them. I had said I had not had one in the NFL. Fact is I had not had an overall NFL game of the year but did have the one rabid dog goy that lost with the Chiefs in that seven field goal game, so I stand corrected. Did have that one. I still stand by my claim I have less of those types of plays than 99% of the sites out there. And yes, I have won most in my time here. I wish I could promise every single year would be a big one. But I know better. My long term success is well established. But once again, this post is about this year only.
I also ran the current numbers for the college as long as I was at it. It is a winning season but nothing to crow about, not that I ever do. The total mark is at 67-62. Plus four units. The Triples are at 10-7, the Rabid Dogs at 5-2.
This NFL season has been very much a challenge. Obviously. I have many friends who are pretty sharp bettors and cappers, not boiler room type idiots, but real players. Guys who know what the hell they are doing. I've visited off and on with many of them and frankly they are having a rough go of it in the league this fall as well. No excuses, not my point here. Just saying the NFL has been pretty unpredictable this year. The bright side is the season is not a wrap yet. I still will work hard to close the gap. And my past success in the NFL post season is well documented. This fight is far from concluded.
