4 Things here.
I put the Game out at 9:30 AM CST on SATURDAY. Bookmaker had a line at +2 and it was +1.5 across the board everywhere at that time. There is a reason I put it out 30 hours in advance. No doubt you were going to see all Cavs money. I did receive an email from Mark at Pregame mid afternoon Sunday explaining he wanted me to make a statement about the line swing. One problem, I was not home and DVR'd the game. I left Saturday at Noon for a fishing trip overnight and through Sunday and did not have access to a PC. (The Crappie were biting at Truman Lake in Missouri)
Out of my thousands and thousands of posts here I have said at LEAST 500 times Line value is crucial, early bird gets the worm, and when a Pro Capper puts out a play way early it is because of LINE VALUE and not because he wants added exposure and time to make sales. At least 500 times! This does not ease the pain of a loss with a line swing I understand but I want it made clear this has been stated by me and other cappers here time and time again. Get it and bet it ASAP.
Yes the line swing huge and in the NBA there are large fluctuations in lines, especially totals...., this line moved more so than I thought and yes a GOY (rare 3 star from me) (3x your normal wager) it should not come down to a buzzer beater, and I clearly thought the Cavs would win by close to double digits. It happens. As bad as Cleveland played they won in spite of themselves and a horrific head coach and LeBron is struggling from he floor big time.
I know than many of my clients lost this play at -3, and I apologize for that, and I also know many clients won the play as I has plenty of sales on Saturday before the massive line swing. Please bear in mind I cap at game at a current line, post it and move on. When we have huge swings I cannot help that and I do not think I would have taken the play down because I was confident of a big win, HOWEVER if I was at home or nerar a PC I would have adjusted the write -up to explain my stance on the line swing and would have said to lay it.
FOR THOSE WHO PURCHASED THE PLAY AND THE LINE WAS BAD FOR YOU - Contact Mark or Tom at pregame or just anyone at the offices and ask for my next 2 NBA Plays at no charge.
