I do remember that conversation well. I think about it quite a bit. For those still not getting the question, it comes down to this. You have five games to bet, each at odds of -120, +120, -150, +150 and -110.
For most people, including me, we'd bet 120 to win 100, 100 to win 120, 150 to win 100, 100 to win 150 and 110 to win 100.
But with AJ's manner of flat betting it's 100 to win 83.33, 100 to win 120, 100 to win 67.66, 100 to win 150 and 100 to win 91.
hope that makes sense. I've been betting vast majority of dogs, so I'm flat betting mostly just due to taking dogs. It is a fascinating question and system I'd never considered before that convo started.
