And came up with this Carrot https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pICX9ioIn0c it’s a song called “blood and glory”by Gerry Rafferty... Rafferty was famous for songs such as Baker Street, Right down the line, and stuck in the middle (with steelers Wheel)
Gerry had his demons (as we all do)and sadly succumbed to complications due to chronic alcohol abuse in 2011. Never heard this song before recorded in 1969 when he was with a scottish rock group called the Humblebums.
I like it its folky listened to it all the way home lol anybody have any rare nuggets they’d like to share while were stuck in this little purgatory of ours? Feel free to share anything any genre is welcome.give a Backstory what the song means to you etc... we need somthing to break the monotony lol GO!

ELO vibe? Hmmmmm...I can kinda hear what you're saying bruv but for once not fully on the same page! One thing I CANNOT STAND about this song is the breakdown so friggin' soon. They totally should have left that for more than 45 seconds in considering the song. "Crimson and Clover" by Tommy James and the Shondells is one of my favourite songs of all time which is the antithesis of the traditional "build up to refrain and then bridge" style but this just sounds bass-ackwards to me lol...my opinion at its finest haha. This breakdown is like "if I'm groovin' to the beat on the floor and before the first verse is even done they are breaking down..."...i'm headed to the back of the bar to throw a shiny nickel in the Juke hahaha
LOL! Well since you put it that wayyyyy... but serious ... I beleive Crimson & Clover was supposed to go to the group “alive and kicking” but Tommy James liked it so much he kept it. He gave them tighter & tighter though their only hit. I may be mistaken though
