"With that being said it's easy to criticize the President when you're Not the President! I do it alot to. It's easy to be Tulsi on the outside looking in! It's easy to say what you Would do, but clearly it's not as easy as they think."
Oh ... I think if Tulsi got into Office and tried to do half of what she's asserting .... they'd kill her. To put the brakes on the War du Jour is a capital offense, as occurred with JFK. JFK served in war and so did Tulsi, and I think some soldiers learn to accept the risk of death --- Trump is not made of that kind of fiber --- when he got the Big Boys mad at him .... he misspoke ....
A week ago I was on a radio program where the subject of Treason came up, and I had to try to explain to the Host what is and what is not Treason - it's defined in the Constitution itself. Anyway, I didn't realize the prior guest before me was still on the line and listening during my segment, and over half way through, out of the blue, the prior guest pops up and asks me whether or not I thought Lyndon Johnson (in 1967) giving an order to recall the rescue fighters launched by the Sixth Fleet in response to a distress call by the U.S.S. Liberty - which was under a savage attack by fighters, helicopters and torpedo boats - constituted Treason. Up to that question ... I had corrected the radio host as to everything that he believed would constitute treason, but when the question about the Liberty was put to me by the other guest, I answered without hesitation that what Johnson had done was the very definition of Treason ...
I mentioned to my questioner that I come from two generations of Navy, where my grandfather was a Three Star Admiral, and like you say Paulie ... it's easier on the outside looking in but .... you know something, we all die and I just hope that what I said on that program is the truth of it - I said that there is not one chance in a million that I would have obeyed that Order - I don't care if that Order came from the President himself - I would not have obeyed that Order and I would take my chances with a Court-Martial .... as I said - "He can tell his side of the story, and I'll tell mine, and we can let the chips fall where they may." It's just a miracle that Ship didn't sink and all of its crew lost --- they were machine-gunning the effing life rafts and you recall the rescue fighters??!!! The survivors of that ship ended up being the most decorated ship's crew in the history of the U.S. Navy ... funny how that story is never taught in our schools or remembered by our brave politicians .... Go Figure.
