I did receive the text of the winning tickets.
For clarity, I do NOT have access to the "official play" play write-up. Or at least I have never been told how to access it before the pick has actually been graded and appears on the play ledger. As I pointed out, I graded the postponed game as NO ACTION many hours before the game was actually played on Sunday, July 24.
One defect of the BLAP text is that there is almost never a specification of the valid/recommended sportsbook(s) for the bet. I realize this would entail lots of work on Fezzik/Pregame's part, but also, I do not have the time to check hundreds of different sportsbook's rules on CFL postponed games. In many sports, a change of venue and/or date will make an early bet NO ACTION and a write-in betting number is added to account for the postponed game when officially announced.
However, in this case it looks like the books just changed or edited the date of the game from July 23 to the 24th which of course is their prerogative. It is interesting that Will Hill didn't change the date on the 2 winning tickets but just graded it and left the original date of July 23.
The tickets didn't actually have any identification of which book wrote the ticket, but from the format of the ticket it looks like DK, ??, Circa, Heritage, and WH.
Bottom line is this is certainly enough evidence that many books graded the game even though it was postponed a day. As a general rule, this policy is player friendly because, as in this game, it allows a bet to stand in which there may be information which postpones the game as well as changes the line.
I will add 2 units for a win on Tor +6.
