If I hired or did business with someone whom "wasn't very successful at what they had done", why would I associate with them for 4 seasons?
b/c the sum of the parts is more successful than the parts of the sum.
point in case: Westgate Hilton Super Contest group collaborations.
most bettors usually wager too many games that takes a toll, but if you gathered 10,20,30 of the top and took only their best shot to dive in, one would consider increased % of profit. many professional handicappers and laymen alike, can pinpoint certain games w/ high results of return. most (even the best) cannot string together several on an individual basis.
regardless of business entity, professionalism is of the utmost. every professional does not possess professionalism; generally how one conducts himself which is often magnified when things are not hunky dory. I've been in business for 30 years, there is a lot I would like to say; but knowing nothing good can become and the small planet on which I live, prefer to say nothing or little; as it always, and I do mean always, comes back to bite you in the bunghole.
the world is a really small place, ya' know. usually best to be envisioned a d*ckhead, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. a man's character stands above all despite worldly possessions and amount of fame - go ask B. Cosby if you don't believe me.
the topic and concepts discussed in this thread are much bigger than any W/L column. just m.o., of course.
