seems like we hear about a team each year that would do this to alabama and that to alabama yet when the big game comes whatever duck, buckeye, hurricane, longhorn or whoever gets their ass handed to them. A and M beat us, jumped on us quick and they played great, thought that we were out. then last night happened and guess what, Bama wont *** up twice. after we finish auburn you can lay whatever you wont win on the Georgia game because this team just got a spark that will take them to a level they havent even played to this season. Saban will then have a month or so to figure out his game plan against whoever we play. Oregon finally played a decent team, at home and couldnt put up 50 yet you think they can do this against bama with a month of preparation for Saban. if at all possible i would love to play oregon just to shut up these people who instead of praising their team, just want to say that Bama isnt as good as everyone thinks. Anyway thanks for the second chance baylor and stanford, yall just crowned Bama National Champs AGAIN. See ya in Miami.
Not sure if this was directed at me ...
With that said, let me make clear that I never said 'your' team was "not as good as everyone" said etc. In fact I went out of my way to call them elite (in my thread in the other forum section)
All I ever said was I would like to see Alabama play Oregon, Just because I like watching Oregon play, I just like their style of play.
I personally still think that an Oregon/Alabama bowl would be more entertaining game to watch then any other match up currently on the table, just my 2 cents.
I think that Oregon came out flat against a Stanford team (which if you consider this) has had years to prepare for Oregon, just because their such fierce rivals. Bottom line is Oregon did not execute and got a little unlucky when they could of used some luck.
Whats all that prove?
Their human just like Alabama is and any other great program out there that find themselves in a dog fight and sometimes come up short. I still stand by my feelings about Oregon being able to prepare for a big game against a powerhouse like Alabama and doing some damage, despite how crazy that might sound ...
Best of luck
