Utah -6
Last week I cashed a ticket on USC, but it was more of a Colorado fade than a bet on the Trojans. Not very impressed with what I saw last night, that was an ugly game. Yeah their defense was very good (albeit against a limited Colorado offense) but USC had 13 penalties, receivers running into each other, this looks like a poorly coached team to me. I would expect more from this team in Clay Helton's 3rd season. Meanwhile, Utah seems to be catching their stride with back to back convincing victories over Stanford and Arizona. This looks like the best team in the PAC 12 South and they can get back into the race with a win over USC. Salt Lake is always a tough venue and I expect it to be rocking Saturday night which could rattle the interception prone JT Daniels. I like Kyle Whittingham as a coach and with an extra day to prepare, think they get it done here. Perhaps I should have waited to see if USC $ comes in driving this line lower given they are a public team coming off a win, but I liked it at < 7 so went ahead and fired.
