Dave Essler Dave, I certainly would never debate any professional, as I realize that as a recreational player such as myself, I am not not close to being ready to leave my "day job". I would never bet that my "two cents" is worth more than any pro's opinion. So I am sincere when I say, I appreciate your facts and comments, and that is one thing I feel posters at Pregame don't take advantage of more often, that is when any Pregame Pro is kind enough to generously comment on any poster's thoughts in the forum, they should not take those facts and comments lightly. However, the more one attempts to handicap these games, the more one tends to form opinions. Betting on them is another thing. While I feel strongly about my feelings on this game, comments like yours is why I did not make Clemson a selection, but rather a strong lean. I probably do not give the "revenge factor" the weight I should, but I am well aware that South Carolina has played "better" than their stats indicate, but I still respect my own opinion, and am not ready to abandon my lean. In closing, thats why I will exercise perhaps the only advantage I have over a bookmaker, and that is I can not play, and still keep my opinion. Respectfully, Harvey. BOL and again, thank you.
