MIZZOU AT VANDY
I've been on this Missouri team pretty heavy the last four weeks. In those 4 games they've beat the closing line by 21, 27 1/2, 26 1/2, and 32 1/2 points. This is a completely different Tiger team than the one we saw the first few weeks of the season. I think the biggest reason for the turn around is the improved play of the offensive and defensive lines. Last week the put up 50 on Tenn. and in that game their receivers dropped so many passes that hit them in the chest that I stopped counting. Especially Emanuel Hall. He dropped at least a 100 yards worth. They could have easily put up 70. There is no way on earth this Vandy defense can stop the Tiger offense. They national rank is #10 in total offense, #38 in rushing offense, #16 in passing offense, #15 in scoring offense and #5 in team passing eff. Now their defense is average at best but that's miles better than they were at the start of the season and good enough to slow down a Vandy offense that ranks #117 in total offense and #97 in scoring offense. Pretty soon the rest of the country is going to realize this is a much improved Tiger team. Look for Mizzou to once again win one by double digits.

PS: I made an error in my above analysis and thanks to FSUTOMAHAWK for reminding me of the Florida game. I was not on Mizzou that game but rather Florida. At that time I didn't think the Mizzou defense could handle an SEC offense with athletes just as good if not better than they had. I was positive their offense could put up points against them but didn't trust their defense. Then Florida fired their coach and I started to have second thoughts. In the end I went ahead and backed Florida and we all know how that went. Instead of editing the post I wanted to leave it as is and just post this correction. Sorry for any confusion. I just turned 69 and my memory isn't what it used to be. LOL...
