It’s ok to lose. Why does someone feel like a need to delete their posts ?
Good question I've often pondered this. If someone is so insecure as to delete a losing post in an online forum, where, at the end of the day, other peoples opinions really don’t matter. What does this say about this person in the “real world” where peoples opinions for the most part, do. Further, why delete any post for that matter? you have time to think about what you write in on online forum nobody is standing in front of you waiting for a response. In other words, you can google, edit, look up words/meanings before you post or respond to someone. You can actually appear to be smarter than you actually are. So if you have all these tools all this time to choose your words carefully and still feel the need to delete those words. HOW in the world do you conduct or survive in the “real world” especially in real time? It really boggles my mind and I have yet to find the answer. My rule of thumb, is not to say anything to anyone in the forum I wouldn’t say to their face. Only I can police that and I try everyday to do just that in these forums.
