I like the Guardians play. Guards 7th in OPS past seven days. WSox 27th. Beibs 7-3 and 2.67 ERA away. He's 2-1 against CWS this season and in the loss he only gave up one earned run in 6.1 innings. He's won his past three starts. Cueto not quite as good at home compared to away. He did pitch well in Cleveland his last time against them. But he was just hit hard in Oakland. According to Lance Lynn, this White Sox team has been playing like shit all season. Guardians clearly have the momentum. A sweep would be a huge statement for the AL Central here.
Rays a good play fading the BJs after the extra innings and travel? Berrios much worse away than at home. Rays just need to start hitting, while the BJs have. Will Diaz play? (And with Arozarena?) BJs don't have too much success in their history at the Trop. Bullpen game for Rays but their arms should be pretty fresh.
Suarez has not been that good at home for the Phillies. But no travel for them, and Braves have had trouble getting men across the plate last two games. Fried did lose his last outing in Philly, but did just beat them and Suarez handily in Atlanta last start. Both teams love hitting lefties. I'm just more worried about that Philly pen than I am the Braves pen. But hey, this should be a close game, and why not take the plus money home underdog? Philly does have some momentum with that extra innings win over the BJs.
