JD - my remarks should not be taken personally by you or RJ. Obviously, regarding the TG incident, you have access to much more information than I have - in fact, all the information. All I've got is hearsay. My concern is Tony has stirred up more doubt as to the validity of his and consequently pregame's record keeping and this casts a serious doubt as to pregame's honesty as well. I know these guys make a multitude of picks, paid for and free everyday - on pregame, on videos, on twitter, on radio, to their beer mates, wives, mistresses, barbers, etc. If anyone wonders why the professional sports betting/handicapping industry is still seen as just another tout-filled, money-scamming bunch of liars and cheats it's because few if any of the industry leaders are, and let me emphasize ARE, transparent from start to finish. I believe you and RJ have laid the groundwork to reach that goal, but I also realize that complete transparency comes at a price and maybe pregame needs a bit more marketshare to be comfortable enough to take that step. I don't know.
It was never my intention to get involved in this rhubarb. DubV is the resident sheriff when it comes to record keeping and apparently he should be acknowledged for his perseverance. "Congrats Dub!" But the whole transparency issue is what pushed my button as it implies we are doing any and everything possible and known to man to present the "WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH" to our clients and we all know that's just an impossible promise to keep, so maybe pregame should define exactly what transparency means to them and their business model.
I will lay off the TG issue and I accept that you have it under control. And if I said or defamed Mr. George in any unfair way, I apologize.
But one thing we, and I'm including you, Toof, Dub, Inked, Dman and whoever has participated in this thread, we all want to see pregame succeed. And when we see discrepancies between what we believe is pregame's policy and and what is the reality, it fuels disappointment and that disappointment burns a little hotter inside.
BOL going forward. I'm sure it must feel at times like you're trying to manage a corral of mustangs, misfits, and malcontents.
You'll get over it, trust me.
