I am a big believer in slightly ramping up bet volume and bet size when you are running good. Most pros disagree, however I think that when a poker or sports better is on a win streak, the focus is typically better, the pressure is off, and it just makes it slightly easier to see the playing field better.
Having said that, the bookmaker still charges vigorish, and there is no reason to fire in bets just because you are on a winning streak. I face that situation in MLB today. I am on a red hot run, +25 units YTD, and I am ready to fire. However, I simply do not have a game that I think is worthy of any real investment (based upon the feedback I have gotten from others).
Note, I WILL probably make a small pizza bet on 914 TOR at post, as the sharps bet Clev, the followers bet Clev, the Public bet Clev, and I expect to get a rogue Tor +122 or so at posts.......it likely has a bit of value, but I have ZERO desire to step in front of the Tribe Train, nor do I want to sell a play where I think the best number will only be available at post, and that is the only time it likely has + Expectation Value.
Note, I DO think the OVER in Clev/TOR had value at OVER 8.5-120, but that train has left the building, and with a move onto "9" worth just over 20 cents, I have to pass there as well.
I will endeavor to comb over the MLB Friday card on Thursday Night , and look to put my very best play up in a package as soon as I can!
Note, in the CFL on Thursday, fyi, I DO agree with the line moves on the following games, but I don't like them enough to play after the line moves:
301 Ottawa
301 Ott/Mont OVER
304 Sask
Note, I DO still really like a CFL game for Friday Night, you can get that play right now, my CFL Play Of the Week:
