Analysis

The Chargers are coming off the bye and a full two weeks to think about the 35 point collapse in front of a national audience, as they lost 35-24 to the Broncos two Monday nights ago. Needless to say the Chargers will be angry and looking to prove a point as we will side with the Chargers to take out the still struggling Browns. Cleveland's bell-cow, Trent Richardson is banged up and rumors have swirled that Cleveland may shut him down for a few weeks with a rib injury, but he is expected to play. Cleveland is allowing big passing and big rushing numbers, something that plays well into the Chargers favor. Another bonus for the Chargers, is the fact their last two losses, they just havn't been able to keep up with the Broncos or Saints offensive units, that won't be the case this week with the Browns, as they are only averaging 324 yards of offense per game and 21 points. The Chargers currently have a better road record 2-1 than home record at 1-2 and will want this game to keep up a chance at the AFC West title. While Cleveland has managed to cover the spread at times this season, including breaking an 11 game losing streak going back to last season, that win was against an emotional divison opponent in the Bengals and we don't see the Browns getting up for this one. Take the Chargers on the road.
