Analysis
We will side with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with almost a touchdown in their pocket and a five game winning streak going back to 2001 against their former NFC Central division rivals. Just last season the Bucs came into Minnesota and took a 24-20 win, and coming off a shootout with the Saints, taking a 35-28 loss, Tampa Bay will be motivated this week to keep that offensive flow moving forward. The Vikings O plays right into the Tampa Bay D's strengths as Adrian Peterson will have his hands full eluding a defense that has only been giving up 76 yards per game, AND only 66 on the road. The Tampa's pass defense has been suspect, giving up almost 325 yards through the air, but Christian Ponder and the Vikes have only mustered around 200 per game, while leaning on Adrian Peterson and a strong ground game. If the Vikings are behind and forced to pass, they have not shown this season that they can play this script. After losing 38-26 to the Redskins, the Vikings will have their hands full with Josh Freeman who is coming off an incredible 3 touchdown , 420 yard throwing performance. Vincent Jackson went off with over 200 yards receiving and could of ended up with over three touchdowns as two were called back due to a heel on the endline, and out of bounds. We like the Bucs to burst the bubble of the 5-2 Vikings, take the points.
