Diego Lopes -130
Lopes has been a real treat since his arrival in the UFC, and I actually think this matchup lets him have the kind of fight he is looking for. Lopes thrives in chaos. He wants to constantly come at his opponent, and make them uncomfortable enough to get out of their game. Yusuff is a very straight forward fighter himself, using a bruising style that is less technical than he used on the regional level. This plays into Lopes’ hands, because there should be opportunities for scrambles on the ground, where Lopes will have an edge. Lopes also seems to be incredibly durable, and Yusuff’s loss to Edson Barboza saw him run out of gas after a hot start. Lopes can weather the early storm and take over in the late rounds.
