I cannot take the Vol's here. I am fairly certain they will evolve as the day progresses into one of those dreaded trendy picks. Not sure how anyone can logically justify it. Duke is obviously on top of their game and Tennessee has been doing some limping down the stretch. They barely escaped the first round against a feisty but lets face it, not real legit threat to go deep in the dance, over the Cajuns. Yes, the Blue Devils are young. Sometimes that is a positive, not a negative. I saw Mizzou take this team down not once but twice and they are hard to trust in crunch time. I never like to throw coaches under the bus and will not here. But I do not trust Rick Barnes in high profile, big stage games. That is based on years of observations. So much for rebuilding in the initial season without Coach K on the bench. This team is peaking and playing with a real swagger and a confidence not typical of teams too young for the moment. Duke just laid waste to a very good, veteran Oral Roberts team. I refuse to overthink this one. I say the vast majority of the time the Blue Devils win and yes, clear the number. Triple on Duke.
Yes, I will say it again. This is NOT a game of the anything. I guess game of the day. Please, I implore all of you to hit this like any triple. Nothing more or less. I am 29-9 the last 38 releases. Very strong but nothing is a sure deal. That is all bullshit. I do not go there. Many sincere thanks as always and let's get this. Steve
