We use 3 CBB Models, all developed differently to pick different ways. They help us SPOT Potential Totals and all 3 have agreed that this number is too HIGH. It is not the only thing we use but it is a starting point. We also use techniques that as far as I know have not yet been discovered by others including books. While these are not fail proof techniques they have been very profitable over the last few years. We also use offensive and defensive efficiency numbers, pace, projected pace, venue trends, league and division trends, injuries, along with other more "Standard" Handicapping Principles to get our final number.
These teams are not that good but they have played Over a lot this season including their first matchup this season when the Bucs as a 1.5 point dog BLASTED HP 37 points. That is not likely to happen tonight and neither is the possibility of this one going Over again. Handicapping CBB is not about how they have done this season but instead how they are doing now. And with that in mind the Panthers are pacing nearly as much NOW as they have been. Meanwhile the Bucs rank #277 for Tempo. High Point with a number of strong trends at home to the UNDER including 4-0 UNDER last 4. I suspect with the beatdown last game vs the Bucs they might come out and play so D.
