Wake Forest is ready for this challenge. Dave Clawson repeatedly spoke about how playing Clemson is a measuring stick for his program. He is 0-8 vs the Tigers but has a chance to change that this year. He has a veteran group led by 39 players in their 5th, 6th or 7th years. Last season Wake gained over 400 yards of offense vs Clemson but turned the ball over 3 times. Sam Hartman has looked solid in his first 2 games and should find success against a Clemson defense allowing 243 passing yards per game. Wake hasn’t lost a home game since September 2020, 11 straight wins. Clemson is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games in September, in fact, they haven’t covered a road September game since 2019. I’ll take the home dogs.
