I'm playing on ST. LOUIS. (2*) The Cards got back on track yesterday and I expect them to carry the positive momentum into this afternoon. Mikolas is off another gem. He bested Nola and the Phillies last time out, allowing one run through 7 1/3 innings. The Cards won 6-1. Not only does Mikolas dominate, he gives the Cards plenty of innings. He's gone at least six complete innings in six of his past seven starts, going 5 1/3 in the other. In nine home starts, he's averaging 6 2/3 innings, while posting a stellar 2.43 ERA and 0.859 WHIP. While Mikolas goes more than six innings regularly, Lodolo has yet to ever pitch a full six innings in the big leagues. He's still only made one road start and he's got a 5.40 ERA (1.60 WHIP) to show for it. This will be the first time that a team is seeing him for the second time. He's backed by a Cincinnati bullpen with a combined ERA well above five. Cards roll.
