I'm playing on MIAMI. I like the way this one sets up. Miami won a wild one yesterday. The Marlins fell behind 4-0 out of the gate but prevailed in a back-and-forth 9-8 affair. That's the type of win that can get them going; the nine runs were a welcome sight. On the other hand, that's the type of loss that can be deflating for Colorado. Lopez has a very solid 0.971 WHIP here at home. Kuhl, on the other hand, has a 1.584 WHIP on the road. Over his past three starts, Kuhl's WHIP climbs to 1.892. The Rockies lost all three of those games (combined score of 16-3) and they've now dropped seven of his past eight. Lopez has made two career home starts vs. the Rockies. Miami won those games by scores of 6-2 and 7-3. In the two starts, Lopez had 15 K's without walking a batter. The most recent was last June and Lopez went eight complete. Including that result, the Rockies are 51-89 on the road the past few seasons. Look for Lopez to do his thing, the Marlins moving to 7-3 their last 10, when listed as home favorites in the -175 to -250 range.
