With a win Tampa Bay can split the series with New York and pull a game closer within the AL East division. Shane McClanahan will get the start for Tampa and he’s been great with a 2.06 ERA and the Rays are 6-3 in his starts (4-2 at home). He’s got a 2.55 FIP (2.38 ERA & 2.67 FIP at home) and opposing lineups have a .260 wOBA off him well below league average so even though the Yankees have hit lefties pretty well this is one of the best lefties in the game and I think they struggle against him as they are still missing some impactful bats out of their lineup. The Yankees are also getting well over 65% of the tickets and majority of the money but the line is moving towards Tampa Bay at least 7-20 cents making New York the public trendy dog so I think Tampa Bay is undervalued and I’ll take them to even the series.
