Grayson Allen has been the biggest beneficiary of the Middleton injury. After seeing his playing time drop to 25 minutes per game the last 3 months of the season, he is now back just under 28 minutes per game since the Middleton injury.

In those same last 3 months of the season, he averaged just over 4 3-point attempts per game, making 1.5 per game. Since Middleton went down he has made over 4 3-pointers per game, shooting 6.5 per game.

Add in the focus that the Celtics have to put on Giannis around the basket, and Allen should get plenty of open looks. The Celtics have allowed over 40% from 3 in these playoffs, only the Raptors and Nuggets have been worse defending the arc.
