Analysis

Under Kyle Shanahan since 2017 the 49ers as an underdog are 25-17 ATS. Both defenses finished in the top 5 for DVOA but the 49ers faced the slightly tougher schedule of offenses so I think this matchup will be decided by the offenses and the 49ers offense finished in the the top 5 while both teams faced similar defensive strength of schedules. Deebo Samuel as emerged as a top offensive weapon for San Francisco and will most likely get the attention of Trevon Diggs. Diggs led the league interceptions but he also gave up the most yards to receivers and can be beat with double moves which I think Shanahan will have a game plan to take advantage of plus the 49ers have more weapons than just Deebo that can hurt defenses. The 49ers are also expected to get back key players for this game that missed the game against the Rams like Trent Williams who is the best tackle in football and will make the 49ers offense that much better.
