The Hurricanes won't be taking Seattle lightly after having their four-game win streak snapped, 2-1, in overtime falling to the Sharks on Monday. The Kracken, meanwhile, defeated the Capitals in their last game. Seattle had lost six in a row prior to that win with the last five losses all coming by more than one goal. 

Carolina has done the job as a road favorite winning eight of the last nine times in that role.
