I don't think people realize just how bad the Duke defense is. They have gotten so bad it's crazy. They are in the group of worst defenses in the nation, but they are also in the group of fastest pace offense. Duke is like 3rd worst in defense and 3rd fastest in pace. So Louisville should have fun running and gunning in this game with Duke. Louisville is coming off a 41 pt game, but it;s the Louisville pace that needs to pick up. Louisville does a lot of running with the QB Cunningham. He's very good and I can see his running being a big problem for Duke all over the football field. Lousivlle needs a win here to be bowl eligible and I expect them to win this game. Duke has given up 48,54,45,48 the last 4 games. Louisville hasn't scored those amounts really all season long. The most points Louisville put up was 41 and 42 points. I think they get well into the 40s for this game. Will Duke score enough is the question. I believe yes. Duke can gain some yards as they avg 435ypg. Louisville pass defense isn't very good. They are in the bottom 30 teams and Duke will try everything they can through the air to score points. I'ts Duke best route to win this game, so I don't see why they don't just throw caution to the wind here. Duke is a 19pt underdog, so getting them in a game script to throw is what we want. Louisville gives up an avg of 26ppg, I think Duke flirts with that number. 19pt favorite for the Cardinals. I see this one in that 47-27 area. Well over.
