Since getting Lavine back the Bulls are 3-0, and in the two prior games (both losses) they didn't have Vucevic, either. Obviously Lavine is rested, and the Bulls don't seem to be just playing out the string. Brooklyn isn't going to catch Philadelphia for the #1 seed in the East, and although they'd like to stay ahead of Milwaukee, they've got three games left, all at home, so they urgency might not be in this game. Brooklyn are mere mortals on the road, going 19-16. I think this is a tight game and it wouldn't surprise me to see Chicago win, as is the case with most underdogs I bet - the points are an insurance policy more than a necessity.

Webb has allowed three or more runs in five of his six starts, the only one the didn't was at home against Miami. The Giants pen is not formidable, and I will attribute Texas not hitting last night (ugh) to both Wood and travel. They're a better "over" team on the road and prior to last night had scored four or more in eight of nine, and we get nine at bats no matter what. |
