I'm playing on LSU. This instate battle of "lions vs. tigers" is hardly a fair fight. While the Lions should be improved from last year, that's not saying much. Tonight, they're in the wrong place, at the wrong time. LSU is off to a 1-1 SU and 0-2 ATS start and is off a loss. That came against a very good St. Louis team though, so it wasn't entirely unexpected. Now, the Tigers, who are also a very good team, will take out their anger and frustration on their overmatched guests. With an O/U line in the mid 150s, note that Southeastern Louisiana is just 2-6 ATS the past eight times the total was listed in the 150s. While the pointspread may seem high, consider that the Tigers are 5-1 ATS (6-0 SU) the past six times that they were listed as home favorites in the -24.5 to -30 range. The Lions, who lost by 25 at UAB last time out, are on a very tough road trip to start the season. It gets a little easier after tonight, but first they'll have to endure another beating. LSU rolls.
